Technical Requirements

Minimum Requirements for OANDA's fxTrade and fxTrade Practice Platforms

If you are having problems running OANDA's fxTrade or fxTrade Practice, ensure that your computer meets the hardware, software and Internet connection requirements below. You can run our Java Test to make sure your system has the minimum requirements.

The fxTrade and fxTrade Practice platforms run on most systems that have a Web browser with Java 5 or higher.

fxTrade and fxTrade Practice are Web-based platforms requiring one of the following browsers. For you to log in to the platform, your browser needs to be enabled for Java 5 and have 128-bit encryption to protect your login ID and password in transmission.
