Troubleshooting - Popup Blocker
You need to enable pop-up windows for the fxTrade and fxTrade Practice trading platforms. If pop-ups are blocked, some platform windows (such as help button windows or dialog boxes) won't appear.
Internet Explorer (Windows XP Service Pack 2):

Click Tools | Internet Options

Click the Privacy tab
-
Ensure the Block pop-ups option is selected

Click the Settings button
-
Add the address fxtrade.oanda.com and click on Add to add to the Allowed sites list

Click the Close button to close the window
-
Click OK to exit and save your changes
Netscape:
-
Click Tools | Popup Manager | Manage Popups

Enter the site address fxtrade.oanda.com and click on Add
-
Click OK to save your changes.
Firefox:
-
Click Tools | Options
-
Click the Web Features button
-
Ensure the Block Popup Windows option is selected

Click Allowed Sites
-
Enter the site address fxtrade.oanda.com and click on Allow
-
Click OK to close the window
-
Click OK to save your changes
Google Toolbar:
-
Click Options button on the Google toolbar
-
Click Options tab
-
Ensure the Popup Blocker option is not selected.

Click OK to save your changes
Yahoo Toolbar:
-
Navigate to the OANDA website, and log into FXGame or fxTrade. You should arrive at the menu page since the popup windows did not appear.

Click the popup control button on the Yahoo toolbar

Ensure Enable Pop-Up Blocker is selected (checked)

Select Always Allow Pop-ups From option
-
Highlight any URLs that contain fxtrade.oanda.com in the Sources of Recently Blocked Pop-ups window

Click on Allow
-
Click Close to save your changes
- Note: If you can't find the OANDA site addresses in the Sources of Recently Blocked Pop-ups window, you must first log into fxTrade/fxTrade Practice before the address will show up.
